Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Corporate Communicationswill play a crucial role in amplifying e.l.f. Beauty's voice through LinkedIn and other corporate and editorial platforms, developing and positioning our leaders as thought leaders in the industry and beyond. This role will involve creating engaging, insightful and highly relevant content for both the company and senior executives, as well as identifying impactful speaking engagements that align with our company's ethos. This position combines strategic storytelling, brand-building expertise, and a keen sense of the spaces we need to be to lead as a purpose-driven, results-led company.
The senior manager will provide both qualitative and quantitative analysis to give learnings to use in future-facing strategies regularly.
Content Creation & Management:
Develop and execute a content strategy for the company and senior executives to support our company narrative, key initiatives, and industry insights including and not limited to byline opportunities, op-eds, LinkedIn and editorial on elfbeauty.com that supports thought leadership for e.l.f.'s Exec Team Write clear, compelling, and on-brand editorial and posts that reflect our company's values, mission, and voice, ensuring consistency across all communications. Engage actively with our respective communities by monitoring comments, responding to relevant engagement, and tracking the performance of editorial and posts to optimize content strategy. Executive Thought Leadership
Collaborate with executives to develop and maintain a personal and authentic social media presence that reflects their voice and values. Research industry trends, news, and competitive insights to generate content, articles and post ideas that position executives as leaders in the field. Explore and recommend new technologies and experiences for executives including but not limited to LinkedIn Live, podcasts, etc. Conduct regular content audits and monitor engagement to adjust content strategy and provide ongoing recommendations to improve reach and impact. Content Strategy & Analytics
Track and analyze platform engagement metrics for posts, providing insights and reporting on trends, successes, and areas for improvement. Stay current with platform algorithm changes particularly on LinkedIn noting content best practices, and new features to ensure content remains fresh, relevant, and optimized. Work closely with marketing, PR, and communications teams to align platform content with broader company goals, campaigns, and storytelling efforts. Track and analyze Speaking Engagements and determine a metrics to measure impact and time / value relationship Speaking Opportunity Identification
Identify and secure relevant speaking engagements, conferences, panels, and podcast opportunities that align with our company's objectives and our executives' areas of expertise. Prepare briefing documents for executive speaking engagements, including background information, audience insights, and key messaging points. Maintain a calendar of speaking engagements, LinkedIn posts, and other communication initiatives to ensure strategic alignment and proactive planning. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in social media, content creation, communications, or a similar role, preferably with a focus on LinkedIn or executive branding. Strong writing and storytelling skills. Strong understanding of LinkedIn's tone, audience engagement, and best practices. Proven experience managing social media content and identifying speaking opportunities for executives. Excellent research skills to keep up with industry trends, speaking events, and content topics. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with executives and cross-functional teams. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills
Experience in public relations or corporate communications. Proficiency with content management tools and social media scheduling software. Familiarity with LinkedIn Analytics and experience in interpreting data to inform content strategy.
