LAN/WAN Engineer

This position requires an active

TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI)

clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph.

Criterion Systems LLC is seeking a mission-focused LAN/WAN Engineer to support and contribute to our government customer's success in Washington, DC or Reston, VA.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for

LAN/WAN Engineer : $140,000 - $190,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

LAN/WAN Engineer Responsibilities Include: Serve as a leader in the local- and wide-area networking; highly sought by others for advice and guidance. Serve as a technical expert on established and ad-hoc project teams providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives on existing and new services to meet both architectural and operational needs Provide expertise in Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, and Communications and Network Systems Management May manage small teams of engineers and related technical staff such as cyber specialists and testers. Provide insight into cutting edge technologies, integrations, and capabilities Consult with other engineers, team leads, or customer stakeholders on requirements, technical direction. Provide expertise on, deep knowledge of, and hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, F5, Aruba, Ruckus, Versa, NOM, NetScout and/or related network components or network monitoring and management tools Provide expertise on BPG, OSPF, Tunnels (GRE, SudeoWire, VPN, L2TP), Spine and Leaf and BGP Peering. Performs other job-related duties as assigned LAN/WAN Engineer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph Years of experience with one of the following:

High School/GED plus eleven (11) years of relevant experience Associate degree plus nine (9) years of relevant experience Bachelor's degree plus seven (7) years of relevant experience Master's degree plus five (5) years of relevant experience PhD plus three (3) years of relevant experience

IAT II Certification CCNP or CCIE Certification Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal Company Information:
