The Network Engineer is a thought leader that is responsible for owning the design and integrity of American Signature's internal network and telecom environments, including customer-facing hosted and cloud environments. This person will be responsible for implementing and testing complex infrastructure in support of our customer needs. They must successfully demonstrate the skills required to provide maintenance to network infrastructures to protect productivity, mitigate threats, and reduce costs. They are responsible for proactive monitoring, alerting, and resolution. This position reports to the IT Network manager

Provide technical services and support for the following areas: Network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security Maintenance of cloud and network infrastructure Remote monitoring of system alerts and notifications

Participate in a Cisco Meraki enterprise-wide network design, hardware installation, and maintenance Monitor network health using tools such as; Cisco Meraki dashboard, Logic Monitor, and OPTX dashboard Perform network assessments Participate in the administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and periodic system review Document maintenance for all network infrastructure Communicate with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages Be available for other team members and coach them to resolution Exhibit proficiency with WAN, LAN topologies Have knowledge of telecom circuit ordering, installation, and troubleshooting Demonstrate knowledge of internal voice / data wiring * including Cat 6 and fiber Multi-task and communicate effectively to internal and external clients and manager Work in a self-directed manner recognizing urgent and important matters Work independently, prioritize assigned work, and proactively address issues in an effective manner Requirements:

5+ years of IT networking experience, as well as broad engineering experience in a wide range of technology solutions, mostly focused on network & voice Must have experience with: Switching (Capacity Planning & VLAN's) Routing (OSPF, RIPv2, BGP) WAN Technology (MPLS, VPN, SD-WAN) Voice Technologies (POTS, VoIP, SIP Trunking) Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE

Knowledge of Cisco network equipment and Fortinet Firewalls Knowledge of advanced network services, ie IP Multicast, QOS, etc. Experience supporting video and audio-conferencing bridges Track record of servant leadership; serving others and putting team goals first Proactive approach; identifies and solves problems Adaptability; flexible to changing market forces and shifting priorities Experience managing change in large and complex environments Ability to break down complex ideas and communicate them in simple and easy to understand ways Match our values: Serve Others and Own it
