Data Scientist Senior - Machine Learning JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Conducting advanced data analysis, using statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data mining methods to extract insights from large datasets. Developing predictive models, algorithms, and machine learning solutions to solve business problems and optimize processes. Exploring and visualizing data to identify patterns, trends, and relationships that can inform decision-making and strategy. Selecting, extracting, and engineering relevant features from raw data to improve model performance and accuracy. Evaluating the performance of predictive models and algorithms using appropriate metrics and validation techniques. Deploying data science solutions into production environments and integrating them with existing systems and processes. Interpreting and communicating the results of data analysis and modeling to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, engineers, and domain experts to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions. Staying up to date with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and related fields through continuous learning and professional development. MANDATORY SKILLS: Strong knowledge of programming, algorithms, and data structures, and industrial experience in languages such as Python and SQL variations (Hive, Impala, PostgreSQL). Knowledge of Data Science techniques with evidence of using them on data across supervised & unsupervised learning business problems. Technical understanding of most commonly used algorithms - Linear Regressions, Random Forests, SVMs, KNN, K-means, etc. Experience of working on models that are productionalized and created traceable business impact is a huge plus. Strong proficiency in the following libraries: numpy, scipy, pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, seaborn. Proficiency in PySpark, data engineering, and Kedro framework is a huge plus. NICE TO HAVE SKILLS Cloud computing, working knowledge of AWS endpoint, model training and deployment, SageMaker, S3; Salesforce, Snowflake, PySpark. N° YEARS OF EXPERIENCE + 5 years · Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science / Data Science / AI or a related field, or substantial practical experience of Data Science at an advanced level.
