Job Summary
The UX Designer will contribute to crafting intuitive and effective digital experiences for Client Charitable donors, advisors, and internal associates. This role focuses on modernizing legacy platforms while delivering value in a collaborative Agile environment. Reporting to the Director of Design, the UX Designer will partner with analysts, strategists, and developers to align user needs with business goals. This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for renewal, supporting two Agile teams in creating customer-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Agile teams to design and deliver end-to-end user experiences.
• Conduct user research to inform and validate design decisions.
• Create product artifacts such as sketches, wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes.
• Ensure design solutions align with user needs, business requirements, and design systems.
• Participate in the full UX lifecycle from research and discovery workshops to delivery.
• Communicate design rationale effectively to stakeholders and team members.
• Leverage tools like Figma, Jira, and Confluence for design and collaboration.
• Facilitate alignment across the organization on opportunities and solutions.
Required Qualifications
• 3-5+ years of UX experience, preferably in digital product design.
• Proven experience working on Agile teams to deliver digital solutions.
• Expertise in user research and evidence-focused design methodologies.
• A strong portfolio showcasing UX design work is mandatory.
• Operational understanding of tools such as Figma, Jira, and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with design systems, including their reuse, scaling, and enhancement.
• Skills in design thinking, prototyping, and strategic design methods.
