As a Vice President- Data Tiering Lead in the Chief Data & Analytics Office, you will be instrumental in establishing standards for identifying and managing the firm's most critical data. You will work closely with data teams across various business lines, fostering a culture of data excellence and governance. Your role is crucial in executing our data strategy, ensuring compliance, and driving innovation. Job Responsibilities:
Support the rollout of the Data Governance Lifecycle by identifying top-tier data across the enterprise Lead the evolution of the Data Tiering process to govern the bank's most critical data Track progress and provide guidance to data teams on collecting data definitions and metadata Engage with Chief Data Officers and their teams to meet data tiering requirements efficiently Collaborate with technology and product teams to build an enterprise-wide data governance platform Work independently with a high degree of motivation and tenacity Develop insights on Data Quality standards and Data Quality Risk Management for leadership Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
10 years of experience in the financial services industry Expertise in data management, governance, reporting, and performance monitoring Proven project management or transformational change experience Ability to manage tight delivery timelines and execute strategic change Strong internal partnership skills with the ability to influence at all levels Experience in a collaborative, matrixed environment Effective communicator with excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to senior audiences confidently Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Strong data governance, data management, and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Experience in a large, regulated matrix environment Experience under the oversight of Risk, Audit, and Regulatory Supervision Strong background in data, analytics, or product management
