Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer to join our dynamic Salesforce product team. This role is critical in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of our applications through automated testing solutions. As an IT Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated test frameworks and scripts that improve the speed and efficiency of our testing processes. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform comprehensive IT Senior Quality Assurance (QA) automated testing and analysis, along with following the defect process. The successful candidate will play a key role in understanding organizational structures, policies, and operations to ensure end users are successful in using the state IT products that utilize Salesforce. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other quality assurance professionals to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects while driving continuous improvement in testing practices. Experience must include: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments, test schedules, and progress tracking against test plans and release schedules. Strong understanding of test data management strategies, data analytics, and their application in test strategies. Proficiency in designing, executing, and maintaining advanced automation test scripts, with expertise in root cause analysis. Direct experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab), including evaluating new testing tools for cost and licensing. Programming proficiency in automation languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document and present test results and maintain detailed testing documentation. Strong customer service skills, including active listening, empathy, and problem-solving. Salesforce certification (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder). Advanced knowledge of modern automation frameworks, best practices, and development methodologies like Agile and DevOps. Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize testing processes. Familiarity with MNIT infrastructure and architecture or similar large-scale IT infrastructures relevant to automation testing. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a commitment to continuous improvement.
