Linux System Engineers

Job Description - Our client is a major cable provider looking for mid to senior level Linux Systems Engineers to support their IP Video Operations environment. - Perform deployment support as well as BAU support for IP videos multiple environments during maintenance windows. - Adhere to MOPs and provide detailed documentation. - Employ Ansible automation for handling complex deployments. - Handle Tier 3/4 escalations for incidents pertaining to the video environment. - Work with alerting dashboards to support operations. Skills and Requirements - 5-7 years of Linux systems engineering/administration - Networking background clear understanding of a CDN and various IP layers - Experience working on network deployments - Automation skills (preferably Ansible, but open to Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, etc.) - Alerting systems (Splunk, DataDog, or Weathermap, etc.) - Must be comfortable working onsite maintenance windows four days per week from 9pm-7am CST null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
