About Our Client Our client is a renewable energy private independent developer. They operate primarily as a development shop but also own and manage some operational assets, which is a unique business model. Their revenue comes from project operations and the sale of assets, which funds new development ventures. Job Description The Project Developer will be responsible for: Managing and executing the development of utility scale renewable energy projects from greenfield to COD Collaborate with engineering team and external consultants to evaluate site layouts and constraints, technology options, schedule implications, interconnection applications and studies Direct and conduct due diligence on development-stage project and portfolio acquisitions, including comparison and prioritisation of multiple opportunities based on common siting, permitting, interconnection, power-marketing and other project metrics Manage external stakeholders supporting environmental assessment campaigns Manage external stakeholders supporting property and sales tax abatement efforts Manage occasional permitting activities with support from other team members Prepare project budgets, schedules, and RFP responses MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant The Project Developer will have Minimum of 2 year's experience in renewable energy industry with full life-cycle development Direct experience in utility scale solar, storage or wind projects. Experience with land development: landowner engagement, and negotiation/contracting, title resolution, agricultural land use/water restrictions Knowledge of governmental mandates, environmental regulations or customer/market signals that impact or facilitate new development of renewable projects Bachelor's degree is required Please still apply if you have smaller scale projects but could still see yourself contributing What's on Offer The Project Developer will be eligible for $100,000 - $140,000 base salary Annual bonuses Project Milestone Bonuses Comprehensive benefits packages Ability to work remote Contact Valeria Barrios Quote job ref JN-122024-6614569
