We are working with a trade association that works within the real estate industry for an SEO Strategist If you meet the following qualifications Please Apply Now Job Title: SEO Strategist Duration: Long term temporary with opportunity to hire Location: Hybrid to Chicago or Washington, DC preferred Pay Rate: $30-$35/hr W2 Summary: You will work with internal groups and vendors to develop, implement and maintain data-driven SEO strategies to increase organic footprint while ensuring a holistic approach to SEO goals and initiatives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and related SEO analyses using third-party tools to identify gaps in relevancy and authority, areas of opportunity and emerging trends. Consult and advise on the creation of engaging, SEO-optimized content including SEO-friendly titles, tags, metadata, etc. on-page as well as for campaign assets distributed across channels. Participate in a multidisciplinary SEO strategy including on-page optimizations, off-page earned link programs, internal link optimizations, link profile management, marketing channel SEO, technical audits and site migrations. Assist in the creation and maintenance of SEO processes and standards for a cross functional SEO program. Coach internal teams on SEO deliverables, concepts, and strategies. Advise and inform internal teams on technical audits, website/migration optimizations, design and information architecture reviews as well as content structure with internal partners to ensure alignment of ideal user experience with SEO. Regularly measure and report on performance of SEO strategies including actionable insights and assessment against goals (ROI and KPIs). What does the ideal candidate profile look like? 3-5 years' experience in SEO or a related field. Experience with multi-faceted SEO optimization projects. Expertise implementing holistic SEO strategies including but not limited to acquiring backlinks, auditing on-site SEO, keyword research, competitive analysis, content strategy, off-page programs, technical audits, etc. Proven content marketing or professional writing skills, with ability to write and edit copy to align UX with SEO. Proficiency with multiple SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMRush, etc.). Working knowledge of analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics or similar. Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (vlookup, analysis, modeling). Ability to meet deadlines and move multiple projects forward simultaneously. Experience briefing and working with agencies or SEO vendors is preferred. Comfortable working with a number of Content Management Systems (such as Drupal and WordPress) Bachelor's degree or other relevant professional certifications is preferred. Other marketing and publishing related experience as needed. Up-to-date with the latest trends, algorithm shifts and best practices in SEO strategies and measurement.
