Job Title: IT Tech Support Specialist Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable IT Tech Support Specialist to join our team. This individual will assist the existing IT team with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Acuity Logic, Eyefinity EHR, and general office technology, including printers, networks, and Wi-Fi systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent communication skills, and is committed to providing exceptional support to our office staff and end users. Key Responsibilities: Ticket Management: Monitor and manage incoming support tickets through ConnectWise Manage. Prioritize and resolve tickets efficiently, ensuring timely communication with users. Document issue resolutions and provide status updates to staff as needed. Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with Acuity Logic, Eyefinity EHR, and other EMR/EHR systems. Provide support for common office technology, including printers, scanners, and workstations. Troubleshoot network and Wi-Fi connectivity problems and escalate issues as required. User Support: Offer assistance with software applications and basic IT needs. Train staff on resolving recurring technical issues and best practices. Collaborate with vendors or third-party IT teams to ensure smooth operations. Systems Maintenance: Ensure workstations, network hardware, and software are updated and functioning properly. Perform routine checks and updates to maintain system security and compliance. Configure and set up new devices, including workstations, printers, and mobile devices. Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with the IT department and management to identify patterns in technical issues. Provide reports on ticket resolution metrics and propose improvements to reduce recurring problems. Assist in implementing IT projects and system upgrades. Required Qualifications: Experience with ticketing systems, such as ConnectWise Manage, or comparable. Familiarity with Acuity Logic and Eyefinity EHR or similar cloud-based EMR/EHR systems. Strong understanding of office technology, including printers, scanners, networks, and Wi-Fi. Basic knowledge of networking principles and troubleshooting techniques. Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
