Solutions Architect - Big Data

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Solutions Architect, with a focus on Big Data solutions, for a full-time opportunity with a Transportation and Logistics Client. This person will work a hybrid schedule out of the Reading, PA or Tampa, FL location. This person will have a heavy focus on designing and architecting data pipelines, and will collaborate with a number of different technical and business teams across the organization. For one of the products, this Solutions Architect will be tasked with working on some of the new integration pipelines and customer facing API development. This Architect will also focus on areas such as Performance optimization, scalability & reliability, and technology evaluation. In this role, you will work heavily with software development, and will guide the to adopt Cloud, hybrid, and on-prem cloud-native architecture. They will architect, construct, and oversee an efficient data platform utilizing modern, low/no code cloud technologies (AWS), interfacing with existing data services and storages. The goal of this role is to help the organization evolve a sophisticated data model, collaborating with executives, engineers, product managers, scientists, and partners to harness structured data from diverse source systems.
