The Firmwide Chief Data Office is responsible for maximizing the value and impact of data globally, in a highly governed way. It consists of several teams focused on accelerating JPMorgan Chase's data, analytics, and AI journey, including data strategy, data impact optimization, privacy, data governance, transformation, and talent. We are looking for a team member to help support the strategy for how we make data available to power everything from new product development to Artificial Intelligence models. Joining the Data Development Lifecycle (DDLC) Strategy team means you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of new architecture, tool chains, user centric design and control frameworks to improve the development and deployment of analytical data done safely, efficiently, and at scale. As a Vice President Project & Execution Lead for Data Development Lifecycle (DDLC), you will have the opportunity to partner with our firmwide teams, lines of business, and corporate functions. This strategic role is pivotal in transforming the data development process for the firm. You will be tasked with overseeing the integration and delivery of crucial aspects of the data development lifecycle. We are looking for someone with experience in roadmap creation and execution and aligning business operations to strategic organizational goals. The ideal candidate should be able to provide structure to the program and organize deliverables to drive execution of the strategy. Job Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and execution of multiple workstreams within a program, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Collaborate and align with various departments and support groups (architects, data engineers, other technologists) to define business outcomes. Develop and maintain program schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Develop a comprehensive overview of the program and its execution strategies for stakeholders at all levels across various functions. Coordinate communication between workstream leads and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency. Support the program manager in organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes. Provide regular program updates to senior leadership, highlighting progress and any areas of concern. Assist in identifying, escalating, and mitigating risks that could impair our ability to execute on the strategy. Demonstrate self-motivation and tenacity, working with a high degree of independence. Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills: 7 years' experience in financial services, data/technology or related consulting industry. Advanced degree in business or technical/quantitative discipline. Structured thinker and effective communicator with excellent written communication skills. Ability to crisply articulate complex technical concepts to senior audiences with poise and confidence. Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills. Ability to work in a highly collaborative and matrixes environment to build consensus. Exceptional analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills. Strong knowledge of data mesh architecture and data product concepts. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: Experience in roadmap creation and execution, aligning and leading business operations to strategic organizational goals. Understanding of AI/ML technologies and their application in data management/governance. Understanding of control and risk management concepts. Strong product management and project management skills.
