Playtest Program Manager

This is an on-site role in Seattle.
Pay Range: $35/hr – $40/hr

Aquent is seeking a Playtest Project Manager to work with our team supporting a large game franchise. The playtest PM is responsible for creating, managing, and owning a master playtest schedule spanning multiple teams. This includes taking into consideration needs, deadlines, and milestones studio wide. The playtest PM will drive weekly meetings for collaboration, scheduling, and coordination of playtests and work within the project databases to enter and triage tasks. They will also follow-up on any issues that directly relate to or are otherwise impacting playtests. This role requires managing the hardware and software installation and upkeep for multiple internal playtest Labs, including PC's and consoles.

Other duties include:

• Prop builds using multiple tools and quickly troubleshoot any issues to minimize impact on playtests.
• Actively work towards identifying and removing roadblocks that might impact playtests
• Manage time and tasks for multiple playtest Coordinators and other studio members who help at events. Prioritize, give clear direction, ensure completion of tasks.
• Assist in development and prioritization of Sprint and Goals and Quarterly/Annual Planning to ensure we focus on the right improvements at the right time.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in Program Management, including accountability for meeting Key Performance Indicators and driving work through all phases.
• Proven capabilities in Azure Dev Ops, Jira, or a similar database for entering and tracking bugs.
• Experience setting up, troubleshooting and maintaining PC's and consoles, preferably in a lab environment.
• Comfortable working in and meeting in Teams, managing and attending meetings as a lead and participant; adept at Microsoft Office 365 apps like Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Experience with highly confidential product releases and driving for safety, security and discretion.
• Familiarity with the franchise, Xbox, and gaming.
• Ability to quantify and sort issues/bugs and recognize how they translate to the product.
• Independent problem solving, task tracking, and follow-through skills.
• Strong communicator who can easily articulate your points to creatives (e.g. Artists and Game Designers), technical people (e.g. Programmers), and non-technical people (e.g. PR and Marketing) alike.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. for lab setup and events

• Some overtime is available for occasional evening and/or weekend events.
• This is an onsite role, work from home is not available for this role.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35/hr – $40/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
