Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Developer/Programmer Analyst to join our team, specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in designing, implementing, and supporting IAM systems, specifically with Okta and related technologies. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project leadership, and hands-on development skills, with a focus on automating processes, integrating systems, and ensuring the security and efficiency of user lifecycle management. As part of an Agile team, you will contribute to the technical design, configuration, troubleshooting, and deployment of IAM solutions, as well as provide oversight and quality control throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and implement the design, configuration, and development of IAM solutions, with a focus on Okta for authentication, authorization, and user lifecycle management. Automate Okta solution deployments to ensure high-quality software delivery and seamless integration with on-premises and cloud-based applications. Implement solutions for user onboarding and offboarding, integrating Okta with directories and applications to streamline access management processes. Work closely with both technical and non-technical teams to understand requirements, provide recommendations, and ensure alignment with business needs. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IAM systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Create and document data flow and architecture diagrams, providing clear and understandable technical documentation. Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring best practices and methodologies are applied during design, deployment, and operations. Provide technical oversight and quality control throughout the lifecycle of the IAM implementation, ensuring that solutions meet security, performance, and business requirements. Ensure adherence to Identity and Access Management best practices and LDAP standards. Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation support for IAM-related issues as required. Required Qualifications:
8+ years
of experience with Identity and Access Management tools, processes, and solutions, including the ability to lead technical and project teams. 8+ years
of experience with IAM solutions such as IBM Security Identity Manager (ITIM/ISIM), IBM Security Access Manager (TAM/ISAM), or similar IAM software. 8+ years
of hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and implementing Okta solutions, including user lifecycle management and onboarding applications. 8+ years
of experience with authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OIDC. 8+ years
of experience integrating applications with Okta Gateway and migrating users between directories. 8+ years
of experience in implementing automation for IAM solutions, including using tools like Jenkins or related technologies. 8+ years
of experience in cloud-based solutions, particularly leveraging AWS, and expertise in authentication and authorization using Okta and similar technologies. 8+ years
of experience implementing security and access control for applications, devices, and users. Ability to gather, assemble, and analyze information to propose effective solutions to complex problems. Proven troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve IAM-related issues in a timely and efficient manner. Preferred Qualifications:
Federated Identity Manager (TFIM/IFIM), Single Sign-On (SSO), Tivoli Directory Integrator (TDI), or similar IAM products . Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make technical information accessible to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with RSA IAM, Oracle Identity Management (IdM), or similar systems . Familiarity with LDAP repositories such as AD, eDirectory, IBM Security Directory Server (TDS/ISDS), and experience using LDAP browsers (LBE, Softerra, Apache Directory Studio, etc.). Experience in integrating Okta with Single Page Applications (Angular, ReactJS, etc.) using JWT, OAuth, and other related technologies . Familiarity with application servers such as WebSphere, JBoss, or similar for configuring authorization with Okta and SailPoint. Experience in integration of IAM solutions with multi-tenant environments . Experience with Agile development methodologies
(preferably Scrum). Experience with CI/CD methodologies
and containerized application deployments. Security certifications
(e.g., CISSP, CISM, etc.) are a plus. Key Attributes:
