Design Engineer

Bennett & Pless, Inc. (Nashville, TN) Design Engineer I to utilize AutoCAD/Revit to analyze & dsgn structural systems for variety of proj types, incl wireless, manuf, distribution, commercial, self-storage, churches, historical, renovations & existing facility analysis. Perf structural analysis of various structure types in modeling programs. Prep & process structural docs/studies per QA/QC guidelines. Produce drawings & review shop drawings for compliance w/ structural drawings. Utilize s/w incl Microsoft products, RISA, Bentley (RAM) products, EnerCalc, MathCAD, etc. Reqs Bachelor’s in Civil Engg or foreign equiv & 1 yr relevant exper. In lieu of exper, completion of graduate-level coursework in Structural Mechanics, Structural Dynamics I, Steel Structures II, Earthquake Engg is acceptable.
