Urologist Position – AdventHealth Fish Memorial, Orange City, Florida
AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic and hard-working general urologist to join our team on the beautiful east coast of Florida. The new physician would join existing urologists as we continue to expand our services throughout the system.
Overview:
- Expanding outpatient presence just north of Lake Mary and Sanford Florida, and the surrounding markets
- Ideal physician would be robotically trained and responsibilities will include shared call coverage
- As we continue to grow, a shared call model with other urologists and APP’s make weekend call less frequent
- EPIC EMR System
- Dedicated OR and clinic time
- AHMG is one of the largest Multispecialty groups in Florida allowing for interdisciplinary support across most all specialties
Requirements for the position: Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Urology. Robotic surgery training preferred. High caliber, quality focused, innovative physicians should apply. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, bilingual in Spanish a plus.
This opportunity includes the benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation. Hospital Description
The facility is a 228 bed campus and began as Fish Memorial in 1952, in DeLand, Florida. In 1994, the hospital was renamed Volusia Medical Center and relocated to Orange City to serve the growing population of southwest Volusia County. In 1996, the Adventist Health System purchased Volusia Medical Center and in 1998, renamed the facility Florida Hospital Fish Memorial to honor the hospital’s benefactor, Judge Bert Fish. In 2003, Florida Hospital Fish Memorial expanded and in 2007 Fish Imaging opened on the hospital campus. In 2015, Deltona Health Park opened as part of our continued promise to provide quality health care to the residents of Southwest Volusia County and Fish Imaging relocated to Deltona Health Park. In January 2019, the hospital was renamed to AdventHealth Fish Memorial.
