JOB SUMMARY The Capital Planning & Stress Testing Risk Oversight Manager is an experienced and highly skilled second-line of defense team member and will play a critical role in ensuring the organization's capital adequacy and resilience under various economic scenarios. This position is responsible for overseeing the second-line of defense oversight of the capital planning process, capital stress testing, identifying and assessing risks, analyzing pre-provision net revenue (PPNR), and evaluating the potential impact of adverse conditions on the company's financial health. Salary Range- $117,184 - $232,025

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Capital Planning and Stress Testing: Reviews and analyzes trends in capital plans and stress results to best understand implications both internal and externally.

Understands complex interactions between economic and operational risk factors and their resulting impact to product, business line, and financial results. Review and provide effective challenge over the company's capital plan, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Must be comfortable communicating and influencing business partners. Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess capital adequacy under various conditions. Performs complex analysis related to earnings, balance sheet, capital and liquidity as well as associated risk exposures. Focus on analyzing PPNR to understand the impact of economic stress on revenue and expenses before provisions for loan and lease losses. Challenge and test inputs and model results to project PPNR under different economic scenarios and stress conditions. Provide insights and recommendations based on PPNR analysis to enhance capital planning and stress testing processes. Stay current with regulatory developments and ensure the company's capital planning and stress testing processes comply with all applicable regulations. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, regulators, and other stakeholders. Liaise with regulatory bodies and respond to inquiries related to capital adequacy and stress testing. Risk Identification: Identify key risks related to capital planning and stress testing, including market, credit, operational, and liquidity risks. Conduct thorough risk assessments to evaluate the potential impact of identified risks on the company's financial stability. In collaboration with 1LoD risk, develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified risks. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with the first line of defense, including treasury, finance, and business units, to enhance liquidity and funding risk management practices. Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on liquidity and funding risk management principles and practices. Engage with auditors, regulators, and industry bodies to ensure alignment with best practices and regulatory expectations. Responsible for talent management functions including: employment, performance evaluations, staff development/training, disciplinary actions, succession planning and ensuring all staff comply with compliance requirements.

ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required. Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings.

Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS Required Qualifications: Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field. Minimum experience required: 7+ Years. Experience in capital management, preferably within an OCC-regulated large banking organization or within a regulatory environment. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to capital adequacy and stress testing (e.g., Basel III, CCAR, DFAST).

Preferred Qualifications: Education level preferred: Master's Degree (or Postgraduate equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field. An advanced degree and/or supervisory/professional certifications are preferred.

Job Competencies: Strong understanding of CCAR, DFAST, and Capital Planning, inter-agency regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Proficient in financial modeling, stress testing, scenario analysis, and in risk management software and tools. Proven ability to analyze complex financial data, conduct and/or direct independent pro-forma stress testing, and prepare detailed risk reports. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior management, regulators, and other stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex and dynamic risk landscapes. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of accountability and integrity. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Occasional travel. Physical demands (ADA): No unusual physical exertion is involved.
