As an IT Solution Manager, Financial Technologies, you will lead financial technology initiatives, focusing on designing, implementing, and optimizing systems like SAP ECC, SAP BPC, Blackline, Hyperion, and Workiva. You'll manage solution vendors, ensure seamless project execution, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to drive end-to-end delivery. Additionally, you'll provide leadership on best practices, reusability, release management, and smooth deployment of finance applications.
** This position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site at one of our locations in Flower Mound, TX; Allendale, NJ; or Portage, MI**
What you will do
Collaborate with build leads/ key stakeholders and drive team to perform activities following Stryker's Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and processes. Manage and coordinate with System Integrator(s) to ensure alignment of key program activities and milestones for deployment and production releases, ensuring they meet the agreed upon timelines and deliverables. Oversee and ensure completion of all business and program cut-over activities, while driving informed decision making for large cross-functional projects. Develop and align on Technical Designs, Prototypes/Mock-ups, Development, Testing and Delivery of solutions for Release Cycles and/or new projects within the finance application stack. Create, coordinate and influence the deployment communication plans, including "Go Live" readiness, change management, cutover, and stabilization. Work with PMO, Delivery Leads, Process Leads, and Change management, develop standards, tools and systems to effectively and efficiently manage the deployment of the finance products across Stryker divisions, functions, and regions. Work closely with Service Delivery teams to ensure Build to Run smooth transition and handover processes. Ensure timely escalation and mitigation of issues and risks to ensure a smooth deployment process. Develop and build robust integration with Infrastructure, Security, Governance, Service Delivery, etc. Provide guidance and mentoring to other Delivery Leads, Solution Leads and Solution Analysts within the team or same project/program. Financial focus on delivering activities on budget, leveraging time on value-driven activities and ensuring external resources meet contractual deliverables. What you need
Required:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent field of technical study. 8+ years of professional experience in software design, development and deployment. 3+ years deploying or delivering finance solutions. Experience collaborating with accounting teams / IT Business Partners to streamline processes, enhance controls, and automate workflows. Preferred:
Experience in technical, design and configuration with SAP BPC, Blackline, Workiva, or Hyperion. Experience in waterfall and/or Agile solution methodologies.
Travel Percentage: 10%
