The Information Technology department is looking for a Developer Intern to join their team in Belle Plaine, MN!
Position Summary:
Cambria has an excellent opportunity for a motivated college student seeking an internship in a fast-paced, forward thinking IT environment. In this role you will be working within a software delivery team to produce business value using Cambria's software delivery frameworks that can include full stack development within one or more of the following: single-page web application frameworks, web CMS systems, web services, databases, Oracle APEX, RPA and/or various 3rd party solutions that Cambria integrates with that provide Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Complete and present a capstone project related to department business needs. This will include research, analysis, and presenting the overall findings and suggestions to peers and Cambria Leaders. Delivering quality software solutions according to system functional specifications, by applying patterns, best practices, and industry standards Will learn how to work within a delivery team consisting of product owners, QA engineers, and other developers to design, develop, document, and create software systems that provide positive customer experiences in the market or increase throughput and operational efficiencies for producing, distributing, and selling Cambria natural stone surfaces. Participate in the code review process of the development team Practical experience with code coverage maintenance and validation through unit testing is a plus Communicate and collaborate proactively with senior developers and product owners to ask thoughtful questions, provide status updates, or request assistance if barriers to delivery exist. Be comfortable operating alongside on site as well as distributed delivery teams through a variety of collaboration and communication mechanisms, including remote meeting services, online documentation, platforms, and agile lifecycle management tools for defining and tracking delivery of business requirements. Qualifications & Skills:
Practical experience through educational course objectives, previous internships, or personal projects working on software solutions in any of the following areas: single-page web applications such as .Net, Oracle PL/SQL & APEX, React,, web service development with .NET or Python, database systems such as MySQL, ElasticSearch, or SQL Server, and/or any applicable experience developing on SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS systems. Familiarity with agile software delivery practices such as Scrum and Kanban Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's program in Computer Science or a related program. Expected graduation date of 2025, 2026, and 2027.
Experience:
Some experience in a related field preferred
Systems:
.NET, Oracle PL/SQL & APEX, JavaScript, React, Python, Source Control systems (GitLab)

Limited travel locally (Eden Prairie, Belle Plaine and Le Sueur)
Physical Requirements:
Office position requiring telephone and computer use. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily. Must be able to stand, bend and twist while performing service work.

May 19, 2025 - August 8, 2025; M-F; 40 hour work week
