Job Description
In this role, you will design standard and customized metal fabrications utilizing SolidWorks. The atmosphere and creative projects will make you love going into work each day. You will act as the team's subject matter expert in SolidWorks.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed drawings of components through SolidWorks.
Work with the shop team and leader on modifications as needed.
Read and work with blueprints.
Be flexible to work on projects ranging from two days to two months.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in SolidWorks with 1-3 years of experience.
Experience in mechanical design and weldment.
Knowledge of heavy weldments design.
Certificate or Associate's Degree in SolidWorks.
4+ years of experience in heavy industrial sheet metal fabrication.
Mathematically and mechanically inclined.
Detail-oriented with a creative side.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in welding is a huge plus.
Knowledge of sheet metal and CSWA certification.
Willingness to consider candidates from the wood industry looking to transition into metal fabrication.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
