Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities: Maximize the value for Capital Markets Technology Define the vision and roadmap for the deal origination, pipeline and execution technology, define and prioritize stories, and articulate this to both stakeholders and the development team Work closely with senior business partners (Capital Markets COOs across products and regions, Central COOs, Syndicate desk, head of ECM Syndicate, Execution Services and Equity Sales) to understand their needs and Technology Development Team in a scaled Agile model to ensure there is alignment Create the vision and roadmap for the product to align with strategic direction for the business or technology domain Communicate the product vision and roadmap to C-Suite stakeholders and business teams, and drives user adoption Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, problems, and aligns them on priorities Create and prioritizes features/epics in the program backlog; empowered to make decisions about trade-offs with emerging work versus planned work Create and prioritize work for 1-3 teams Create and prioritize stories in the product backlog Refine stories with the team to ensure there are enough "ready" stories to load the next 1-2 sprints Reviews and accept stories and is empowered to make on-the-spot decisions on scope and requirements Work in partnership with the team to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and through an advanced understanding of the business Provide application training and demonstration
Requirements:
BA or BS degree in information technology or computer science from an accredited 4-year university MBA or MS degree Experience in the role of Product Manager/Owner expert of the Capital Markets Deal Origination and Deal Pipeline, ECM space, and have a deep understanding of the business In-depth understanding of Debt or Equity Capital Markets applications, how they are used by the business and how applications fit into the overall deal workflow Experienced with cross-functional teams Knowledge and experience of Capital Markets Deal Origination and Deal Pipeline, Equity Capital Markets/ New Issue/ Primary Markets (New Issue Bonds, IPOs, Follow Ons) requires approximately 8-10 years BA experience Excellent analytical, problem solving and strategic thinking ability; ability to troubleshoot production issues and get them resolved quickly by the appropriate support team Experience with capital markets and the Deal Origination, Deal Pipeline, syndication process Highly organized, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize effectively and handle responsibilities for multiple projects / support issues concurrently Superior verbal and written communication skills Agile skills to write quality User Stories, effectively prioritize the backlog/work items, define acceptance criteria and aligns business stakeholders on priorities JIRA and Confluence
Desired skills:
Experience working as part of a global team BI Tools experience is helpful; MS Office, Visio, MS Project, SharePoint, One Drive, MS Teams Front end development with Angular, Javascript , JSP, HTML/DHTML, Ajax
Pay Range:
$68.38 - $76.38
