The Sales Manager is a fully competent individual with experience in a hotel's sales process and function. Responsibilities include: Selling guest rooms, meeting space, and other Hyatt services to customer groups. Managing accounts and conducting site inspections. Soliciting and generating business. Preparing and presenting effective proposals. Maintaining well-organized documentation and reports. Utilizing Hyatt systems and coordinating customer service requirements as appropriate. Participating in and may lead event meetings, sales, and other staff meetings. Working as a team member with the sales and catering staff, in close contact with the assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff. The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000. This is the pay range for this position that Wild Palms Hotel reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education. Qualifications

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. Refined verbal and written communication skills. A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred. Must be proficient in general computer knowledge. Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training. Prefer selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentation skills training.
