Job Summary Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Mobile Developer with experience developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliability, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Location: Charlotte, NC - Remote Responsibilities * UI/UX Design Skills: Understanding the basics of user interface and user experience design is essential to create visually appealing and user-friendly mobile applications. * Must excel in debugging and testing techniques to identify and resolve issues effectively. * Responsible for writing and maintaining code using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML to create mobile applications. Qualifications * Bachelor's/PG course aligned with software development which has either a 3-year or 4-year duration respectively. * Must have a strong foundation in JavaScript and understand React principles, as React Native is built upon React. * Well-versed in mobile app development, including knowledge of mobile-specific user interfaces and design principles. * Skilled in writing code that works seamlessly on both iOS and Android platforms, maximizing code reuse. * Must excel in debugging and testing techniques to identify and resolve issues effectively. * Agile certification is an added advantage. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 12 January 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 - $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
