Full Time
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am -4:30pm
Primarily remote work, occasional onsite meetings
Job Summary:
The Salesforce Business Analyst/Admin is considered a subject matter expert, involved with all phases of software development from design to implementation to post implementation problem solving. This position is easily able to code, tests, debugs and documents program applications specific to their team. May be required to develop application designs, devise or modify procedures to solve system software or user problems and prepare detailed specifications. This position may be required to mentor peers and provide educational/informational sessions to improve workflows, troubleshooting or system design pertaining to their team.
Candidates should be proficient in planning discovery activities, mapping business processes, eliciting requirements, and writing user stories with the goal to build scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
Familiarity with fundraising and/or nonprofits is highly desirable, with majority of time spent on liaising with Foundation teams using Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Platforms.
What you will do
Serve as Admin for 5 Foundations' Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud use
Serve as partner with 5 Foundation teams to prioritize and design scalable, best practice solutions to meet business needs
All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, sharing rules
User support tickets
Identify and gather requirements from users and stakeholders
Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
Monitor user adoption
User training and creating training materials, completed with the Foundation Teams
Sandbox environment management
Identify unused or underutilized platform features
Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
Working with integrated applications and managed packages
Visioning and communicating enhancements' impacts and risks across 5 separate closed account and contact records types but interrelated, shared base record architecture for other core Salesforce and NPSP/NPC functionality
Leading Philanthropic Data Governance Committee meetings to ensure stakeholders are aware of and following consistent workflows, particularly related to implications for shared reporting requirements
Train end users and key stakeholders, completed with the Foundation Teams
Create technical documentation
Must be available and responsive to questions to keep deadlines on track in fast-paced environment
What you will need:
A proactive attitude to platform enhancements, particularly from the perspective of maintaining best practice fundraising requirements
Excellent relationship-building skills, with ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels and maintain good working rapport
Must be able to translate requirements into technical solutions, using clear written and verbal communication skills
Experience in change management and governance required
Ability to be flexible, working with a variety of work styles and amid frequent system change
Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
Experience and Certifications within Salesforce Development and Administration preferred
