As a Strategic Partnerships and Business Development Liaison, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering strategic collaborations, driving business growth, and contributing to the expansion of our market presence. The Role: As a Strategic Partnerships and Business Development Liaison (SPBDL), you will become a subject matter expert in Customer Service Delivery, Sales, TLC’s Network, Business Branding and Marketing, and Operations of our sister company, Guardian School Security Systems. Responsibilities will include Committee Planning, Project Management, Reporting, working with various Vendors, Contractors, Local/State/Federal Government, and other entities, establishing Processes, Customer Relation Strategy, Product Delivery, and Community/Public Partnerships. Role Responsibilities: Partnership Development:
Identify, establish, and nurture strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders. Contract Negotiation:
Lead contract negotiation efforts, ensuring favorable terms and compliance. Project Coordination:
Oversee the execution of collaborative projects resulting from strategic partnerships. Business Growth:
Identify new opportunities, market trends, and potential growth areas. Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders. Reporting and Analysis:
Monitor partnership performance and provide regular reports to management. Professional Development:
Stay updated on industry trends and attend relevant events. Minimum Requirements/Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or related roles. Minimum 2 years' experience growing and leading a team of sales professionals. Proven record of accomplishment in tech sales, strategic partnerships, or business development. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to navigate complex contractual agreements. Software Experience: PM Software/CRM Systems/Adobe or other applicable software. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess partnership performance. Exceptional communication and public speaking skills. Project management experience, with a focus on delivering results on time. Knowledge of public relations strategies preferred. Relationship-building skills with the capacity to establish effective partnerships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Self-motivated and proactive. This role requires travel (locally, nationwide, and internationally). Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or experience in strategic planning. Experience in securing grants, funding, or investments is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs. Excellent problem-solving skills. Work Environment/Physical Demands: Work is normally performed in an environmentally controlled office/laboratory environment.
