who can roll their sleeves up to drive our marketing strategies and help expand our reach and sales. Position Overview: The Chief Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our business goals. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of retail and e-commerce for novelty products, and possess strong leadership capabilities. This key role will report directly to the CEO and will partner closely with the Social Media, Planning, Allocations, and Operation teams to drive innovation, identify trends, and maximize revenue growth opportunities. We are an aspirational brand seeking an individual with a refined sense of style and a keen eye for design. Essential Job Responsibilities: Develop, plan, and execute data-driven marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales growth by identifying and engaging our target audience. Taking the lead in creation and execution of innovative campaigns across all channels (digital, social media, influencer, email marketing, and more). Develop and refine content for product descriptions for website, email campaigns, social media messaging, and advertising materials. Strategically price and position products to effectively align with the company's brand; and effectively increase the transaction price of products along with the overall market share. Collaborate effectively with the CEO and teams to align marketing initiatives with company goals. Determine the best channels to reach target customers. Visually communicate the quality and craftsmanship of our products through compelling and tasteful presentations. Create programs to secure new customers and retain established customer base. Develop promotional content/material. Provide conversion strategies and techniques to turn prospective buyers into paying customers. Utilize data for marketing campaigns and create programs based on analysis of product sales. Effectively forecast financials related to expenses and the return associated with new customers, sales, profits, etc. Identify new business opportunities and negotiate with partners to manage costs and ROI. Utilize knowledge of marketing novelty products to target new audiences and grow consumer base as well as retain established customers. Predict and capitalize on industry trends, adapting strategies to stay competitive and ahead of market shifts. Build and maintain strong partnerships with influencers and other marketing collaborators within the LGBTQ+ community. Manage marketing budgets effectively and identify new business opportunities to ensure a strong ROI. Drive customer engagement strategies that foster brand loyalty and long-term growth. Lead, mentor, educate others to achieve high performance. Establish and nurture relationships with respected leaders in the BDSM community. Support charitable initiatives; positioning the brand as a trusted resource for safe play education. Advocate for social justice and equity within the community. Basic Requirements: MBA preferred or equivalent experience in marketing, business administration, or related field. 7+ years of experience in a senior marketing role, with proven leadership in an e-commerce environment. Strong writing and editing skills are essential for this role, as clear and well-crafted product descriptions are key to our success. Understanding of, or a willingness to learn about, the dynamics and nuances of alternative lifestyles, including BDSM. Familiarity with or an openness to gaining knowledge in this area is essential for the role. Additional Requirements: Exceptional leadership profile and experience. Proven ability to plan, prepare, and execute strategic business plans. Proficient organizational and time management skills with impeccable attention to detail.
