Position Description
Our Senior Engineer is a key member of the engineering staff working across the organization to collaboratively design creative solutions to complex problems using automation. Our team thrives and succeeds in delivering high-quality technology products and services in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift quickly. The ideal candidate can plan, prioritize, execute, and manage large projects to deliver enterprise network services.
Position Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineer, you will: Develop new user-facing features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular, Flutter) Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and translate them into functional, interactive applications Design, test, and promote network services and platform automation solutions using DevOps and CICD practices Publish documentation sets for runbooks, as built, and design reference Develop and maintain processes and workflows using automation to improve quality and efficiency Leverage network management platforms and practices to run large-scale deployments efficiently and effectively Understand and leverage reference architectures and frameworks Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for network platforms and services Support, operate, and maintain large scale, critical network environment, platforms, and services Triage, analyze, and perform root cause analysis for network automation related issues Provide 24x7 after hours on-call support and support for off-hours network automation implementations Qualifications Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) Proficient in ReactJS library Experience with other front-end frameworks and libraries is a bonus (e.g. Angular, Vue, Flutter) Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design principles Experience with RESTful services and APIs Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (Sass or LESS) Basic understanding of back-end technologies (e.g. C#/.NET, Node.js, Express) is a plus Knowledge of common application architectures and communications protocols Understanding of programming and scripting languages such as Python, Golang, Bash, and PowerShell Experience using Linux Proficient with container technologies like Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, etc. Ability to work with nested data structures like JSON, XML, YAML Experience in public cloud infrastructure is desired Strong problem-solving ability Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment Experience 4+ years of professional software development experience in a large-scale network environment Must have experience in front-end development with React JS and its core principles 3+ years of experience with architecture and design 3+ years of experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, or another cloud service 2+ years of experience in open-source frameworks Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience #LI-JK1 Annual Salary $70,000.00 - $185,000.00 The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
