Job Summary: We are a Data Science consulting firm specialized in providing analytic solutions to clients in Commercial and Government industries. Summary of Position: You will join a skilled team applying cutting-edge research in a complex and evolving data environment. You will develop code to perform complex modeling to detect and characterize objects using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and related software packages. Your responsibilities will include integrating data from a variety of sources, training foundation models, fine-tuning models to address real intelligence questions, and writing compelling documentation and reports for decision makers. This position will be part of our Defense and Intelligence Team serving the Intelligence Community as our primary customer. Essential Functions: Conceptual, quantitative, organizational, research, writing, verbal communication, and graphical representation skills. Sound judgment, creative problem solving, and independent working skills. Interpersonal and teamwork skills to work with individuals and organizations, including varying levels and types (Government, industry, and academia). Facilitation skills to bring diverse groups together on issues and reach consensus across stakeholders. The ability to perform complex analyses and communicate results using accurate, concise, and effective writing and through descriptive and graphical representations. Technical understanding of the systems supporting aspects of the functional areas. Knowledge of standard tools (e.g., the Sponsor’s various computing networks, Microsoft Office Products) and the ability to learn to use and support other tools as the program evolves. Flexibility in assisting with ad hoc tasks and adjusting as tasks are re-prioritized. Job Specifications/Requirements: Active TS/SCI security clearance with the required Polygraph. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (computer science, mathematics, statistics, etc.) with 3 years of relevant experience. Data Science experience. Proficiency in Python and/or R. Experience in Machine Learning/Computer Vision/Object Detection. Desired Skills: Prior experience with PyTorch, Keras, and overhead imagery would be beneficial but not a requirement. Master’s degree in a technical field (computer science, mathematics, statistics, etc.) with 1 year of relevant experience.
