Job Description Project Manager with SAP (W2 Contract) Overview The Project Manager with SAP plays a crucial role in overseeing and guiding the successful execution of SAP-related projects within the organization. This individual is responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with the strategic objectives of the company. By collaborating with various stakeholders—including business users, IT teams, and external vendors—the Project Manager ensures that project requirements are well-defined and met. The role demands a strong understanding of SAP systems and processes, alongside effective leadership and communication skills to manage and direct teams toward achieving project goals. Successful candidates will drive project planning, execution, and closure, while also maintaining a focus on quality and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead SAP implementation and upgrade projects from inception to completion. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budget constraints. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them. Manage project budget and resource allocation to optimize efficiency. Facilitate regular project meetings and provide status reports to stakeholders. Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies. Compile and maintain documentation for project processes and decisions. Conduct project reviews and post-implementation assessments. Assist in training team members on SAP applications and systems. Manage vendor relationships and coordinate deliverables for outsourced components. Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among project staff. Provide conflict resolution and problem-solving support throughout the project lifecycle. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in SAP environments. Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP SD, or SAP FI). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable. Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies. Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA). Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing tasks. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Experience working in a collaborative team environment. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct teams. Proficiency in budgeting and financial management for projects.
