This position requires great attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient care and experience. The ideal candidate would have a great personality, drive to learn more, grow, and be a team player. We are a paperless office, PPO only, General dental office and use Eaglesoft. ******* Only qualified DENTAL APPLICANTS please ******* Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system Maintain a clean and organized front desk area Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages Schedule appointments and maintain calendars Assist with data entry and record keeping Coordinate projects and tasks as assigned Provide general administrative support to staff - put together treatment plan and present to patients Go over and collect copays Look up detailed insurance verifications Maintain hygiene schedule Ability to multitask and self-govern Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience as a dental front desk receptionist or in a similar role preferred Proficient in using phone systems, filing systems, and office equipment Strong clerical skills with attention to detail Knowledge of dental software - Eaglesoft is a plus! Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks Computer literacy / comfortable in a paperless office Strong verbal and written communication skills
