Job Purpose: The Sr Procurement Manager, Capital is accountable for leading activities within strategic sourcing and procurement operations for the capital equipment portfolio at fairlife. This role is directly responsible for managing and overseeing the development and execution of sourcing strategies that align with fairlife's strategic objectives. The position delivers value to the business by ensuring strategic sourcing of the highest quality, most cost-effective equipment and materials from a reliable, high performing supply base. The Sr Procurement Manager, Capital will drive supply continuity for working capital, collaborate with engineering teams on facility design, and be an owner in the Supplier Relationship Management process, and deliver continuous improvement in the value chain. Responsibilities: Define and lead the procurement strategy development for fairlife capital equipment and R&M categories. Identify, develop, and implement sourcing strategies that reduce total delivered cost, ensure best-in-class vendor partnerships, and bolster security of supply. Develop a supply base which creates and sustains a competitive advantage, while effectively leveraging spend, and driving innovation & strong vendor performance. Collaborate with engineering teams on the creation of KPIs to monitor equipment vendor performance and support a cross-functional scorecard evaluation process. Manage supplier performance through routine business reviews. Lead Request for Proposal (RFP) process to ensure consistent lowest total cost of ownership. Manage the Total Cost of Ownership following RFP completion, supporting lifecycle service procurement and own R&M baseline establishment. Identify and implement synergy opportunities for shared suppliers with the global Coca-Cola network. Support Engineering Teams with sourcing needs related to design, construction, modification, and maintenance of the processing and packing equipment. Develop and execute vendor agreements in close collaboration with Legal Team. Assist in the development and management of annual capital and R&M cost budgets. Analyze and forecast market inflation trends and work to address any price variances to budget. Monitor, track and report on savings and key performance indicators for category. Collaborate with plant finance and maintenance teams on inventory and order optimization opportunities. Stay abreast of industry trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging technologies for dairy processing & packaging equipment. Resolve any unforeseen problems with suppliers relating to operations, purchasing or quality/performance. Skills/Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement). +7 years' experience performing capital equipment sourcing or process and/or packaging engineering supporting low acid or CPG equivalent systems. Sound category technical knowledge of manufacturing systems equipment design and ongoing spare parts and servicing requirements. Demonstrated track-record of executing year-over-year cost savings initiatives and ability to develop a cost savings project pipeline. Category management capabilities to mobilize cross-functional teams to mitigate risk and deliver value. Ability to effectively negotiate and influence business decisions.
