This position works in the Juvenile Dependency Division of the Office of County Counsel and represents the Health and Human Services Agency in all juvenile dependency matters. In addition, this position performs legal research, prepares legal documents, and is responsible for providing legal advice on child welfare investigations, litigating juvenile dependency cases and handling juvenile dependency matters on appeal. Qualifications: Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California, AND three (3) years of professional, post-bar civil legal experience as an attorney. Previous experience must have included serving as an attorney handling civil law matters and cases in a public or private sector law office.
