We’re looking for a highly motivated Senior Revenue Accounting Manager to join our growing Finance team. Reporting to the Director of Revenue, this position will be part of managing the end-to-end accounting, business, and system processes as the company implements ASC 606 – Revenue from Contracts with Customers, and has significant responsibility for analyzing and reporting revenue for the company’s Automotive, Advertising, and Mobile Navigation segments. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review customer contracts: identify, articulate, and document issues and their financial impacts in compliance with ASC 606. Act as primary internal expert and key contact with respect to requirements and impact on the revenue recognition cycle as projects are deployed. Responsible for month-end and quarter-end close activities (including deferral and recognition of cost of revenue under ASC 340, revenue recognition under ASC 606, and monthly management reporting packages). Work closely with company’s external auditors to ensure approved revenue policies are carefully adhered to and monitored, and to support quarterly/annual audits. Assist with revenue forecast, modeling and process improvement. Partner with other departments to streamline processes related to revenue and cost recognition. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. CPA with Big 4 experience preferred. 7+ years of combined experience in private industry and public accounting, with at least 1-3 years of work experience directly related to revenue recognition. Working knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 340 with the ability/willingness to stay current on related developing issues. Detail-oriented with superior analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with Great Plains or other similar ERP system required. Experience with revenue forecasting preferred. Intermediate/advanced Excel skills required and ability to work with and analyze and interpret large volumes of transactional data. Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and business partnering skills with demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and at various levels within a company. Excellent time management skills, ability to meet deadlines and operate with a sense of urgency, with self-starter orientation. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a change agent for implementing new ideas and process improvements in a complex environment.
