The Primary Technical Control Facility Lead is a pivotal role responsible for managing and operating cryptographic facilities and ensuring the maintenance of operational status within a Tech Control facility. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing cryptographic facilities. The ideal candidate will have an active TS/SCI Clearance and demonstrate extensive knowledge of Tech Control equipment, including switches, encryption devices, network operation consoles, and circuits. The Lead will have a proven track record of supervising tech control employees and maintaining Tier 2 Tech Control Helpdesk functions in accordance with DISAC 310-175-9. The role demands the ability to provide technical direction and supervision, coordinate restoration efforts, and manage incidents and service requests following industry standards and ITSM best practices.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and operate cryptographic facilities, ensuring continuous operational status of the Tech Control facility. Supervise and direct tech control employees, ensuring effective maintenance of transmission paths and facilities. Maintain a thorough understanding of Tech Control equipment, including switches, encryption devices, network operation consoles, and circuits. Operate and maintain Tier 2 Tech Control Helpdesk functions, adhering to DISAC 310-175-9 standards. Provide oral and written communication with the highest levels of management, reporting on facility status and incident management. Handle and manage incidents and service requests, including changes, problems, configurations, and requisitions for equipment and services. Ensure compliance with industry-accepted standards and IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices. Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required. Minimum 5 years' experience with managing and operating cryptographic facilities. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

Must possess an active TS/SCI Clearance. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated knowledge in maintaining the operational status of a Tech Control facility. In-depth understanding of Tech Control equipment and maintenance procedures. Proven ability to supervise and direct tech control employees in efforts similar in size and scope as referenced under this Call Order. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with the highest levels of management. Knowledge in operating and maintaining Tier 2 Tech Control Helpdesk functions and familiarity with DISAC 310-175-9. Ability to provide technical directions and supervision for the coordination, restoration, and reporting of maintenance activities. Familiarity with industry-accepted standards and IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices. Competence in handling and managing incidents and service requests effectively. Work Environment:
The work environment for this position is primarily within a secure Tech Control facility. The Primary Technical Control Facility Lead will be required to work in an environment that requires strict adherence to security protocols. The role may involve responding to urgent issues outside of standard working hours and requires a high degree of responsiveness and flexibility. Benefits
