Abacus Business Systems Analyst with 6-Years of DC Government Experience (100% Onsite in Washington, DC) Seeking an ABACUSLAW Business Systems Analyst for DC’s Attorney General, within the Information Technology Division. Note: This position is 100% onsite in Washington, DC. Candidates must have 6-years of experience with DC government AND 6-years of experience with on-premises deployments and managing AbacusLaw databases. Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience, or current PMP Certification. 6 years of experience working with a DC government agency. 6 years of experience with on-premises deployments of AbacusLaw . 6 years of experience managing AbacusLaw database for both civil and criminal matters. Excellent communication , with proficient command of the English language, both verbal and written. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges. Job Description: The Business Systems Analyst for DC’s Attorney General will manage Abacus case systems, guide support/training, generate reports, oversee upgrades, gather requirements, and ensure clear communication. Requires 6 yr with Abacus and DC agency experience. This one-year contract position is located in the nation's capital, The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) is the chief legal office of the District of Columbia. OAG enforces the District's laws, works to protect and defend DC residents, and provides the highest level of independent legal advice and guidance to District of Columbia government agencies. This position is located within the Information Technology Section of the Immediate Office Division. The Abacus Business Systems Analyst provides, at minimum, the following general services related to OAG's deployment of the Caret AbacusNext application: Manage on-premises case management system with multiple databases Provide and guide customer support, including employee onboarding, training, and change requests Produce system and custom reports upon request using all available resources; facilitate data access in business intelligence tools Oversee enhancement and new feature deployment, including the development of testing scripts Guide business requirements gathering and provide responsive solutions Serve as the primary point of contact for related issues, offering clear communication to both stakeholders and executives. Key Responsibilities: Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirements specifications. Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist of most phases of systems analysis, while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Education/Citizenship Requirements: U.S. Citizen Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, or current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Ability to pass FBI NCIC background check Why TWCS?
