JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with expertise in Drools and Java as the primary skill, along with experience in Angular and RDBMS. Knowledge or experience in claims or insurance is a plus. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced applications that efficiently meet business and end-user requirements. The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong programming abilities, and a passion for creating cutting-edge solutions. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into efficient technical solutions. • Design, develop, and implement user-friendly, scalable, and high-quality software applications using Drools, Java and Angular • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, principles, and best practices. • Continuously optimize application performance through monitoring, profiling, and fine-tuning. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements to existing systems. • Troubleshoot and debug applications to identify and resolve software defects and production issues in a timely manner. • Collaborate with QA engineers to implement robust testing strategies, including unit, integration, and performance testing. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members whenever required. • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). • Proven working experience as a Full Stack Developer, specializing in Java /Drools as the primary skill • Strong programming skills in Drools and Java • Extensive knowledge of SpringBoot Framework, or other relevant Java frameworks. • Proficient in Angular (versions 2 and above) with expertise in building reactive web applications. • Experience in designing and developing Restful APIs and working with Web Services (SOAP/REST). • Experience with cloud technologies (such as Microsoft Azure or AWS) and containerization (Docker or Kubernetes). • Solid understanding of RDBMS principles, SQL, and database design concepts. • Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git. • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality code. QUALIFICATIONS Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in the claims or insurance industry. • Familiarity with frontend technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js). • Exposure to NoSQL databases (MongoDB, CouchDB, etc.). • Understanding of DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD). • Relevant certifications in Java/.NET, or Angular.
