Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Functional Consultant to support and enhance warehouse operations as part of the Supernova project. The role involves analyzing business requirements, designing process flows, configuring SAP EWM systems, and collaborating with development teams to deliver functional solutions.
Key Responsibilities Goods Movement: Manage inbound and outbound processes, inventory management, site mapping, and exception handling. Process Documentation: Update process flow and design documentation to meet Supernova requirements. Gap Analysis: Identify gaps between current processes and desired outcomes, recommending configuration or enhancement solutions. Configuration & Testing: Build EWM Supernova warehouse configurations. Draft and manage functional specifications for template changes. Conduct functional unit testing and develop test cases.
Enhancement Coordination: Lead process flow review sessions with the client team. Oversee offshore development teams to build and test enhancements.
RF & Customization: Draft and secure business approval for design documents involving RF functionality and custom product master fields. Integration: Configure the EWM system to support both conventional and automated warehouse processes, integrating seamlessly with external warehouse control systems (WCS).
Requirements Proven experience with SAP EWM, including inbound, outbound, and inventory management. Hands-on experience with configuration, functional specification writing, and system testing. Familiarity with RF technology and customized warehouse processes. Strong analytical and gap analysis skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with offshore teams. Comfortable with up to 30% travel and client interaction. Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or food processing industries is a plus.
