OVERVIEW The Document Specialist will be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite products and Adobe Acrobat Professional to review and process documents. This position offers a collaborative, engaging, and challenging work environment. DUTIES Formats MS Word and Adobe PDF documents, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel spreadsheets in accordance with specifications Reviews documents and deliverables for spelling, grammar, and consistency Verifies data accuracy from various governmental sources (i.e., PECOS, Salesforce) Uses prescribed checklists and standard operating procedures to perform quality assurance and quality control reviews Performs quality assurance and quality control reviews of documents and deliverables for Section 508 compliance Remediates non-Section 508 compliant aspects of documents and deliverables Stores and maintains documents on the team's SharePoint site Uploads and downloads from program document repositories, as required Perform other duties as directed MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in related field Proficiency in formatting MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe PDF documents PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SharePoint Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Ability and willingness to learn new software applications Ability and willingness to learn and follow processes Ability to work as a member of an integrated team Excellent problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to maintain professional and ethical working relationships Ability to interact professionally with a diverse customer group including other document specialists, project managers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders Salary Range: $45,000 to $55,000 per year For a complete listing of benefits, please visit our careers page at www.hendall.com/careers Hendall Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
