Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Architect - Data Modeler with deep expertise in data technologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise data solutions. The role involves designing robust data architectures, developing data models, and implementing modernized data platforms while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as a data technology leader and subject matter expert for enterprise clients.
• Provide thought leadership by integrating the right Data and AI solutions for client needs.
• Conduct data landscape assessments, portfolio rationalization, and modernization strategies for applications on Hyperscaler platforms.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand expectations, and propose the right solutions.
• Design enterprise data platforms on cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), including ETL pipelines, Data Modeling, Visualization, Data Governance, and MDM.
• Serve as an expert troubleshooter, managing escalations and critical delivery issues.
• Build offerings, solutions, and automation accelerators while mentoring NexGen data talent.
• Collaborate with account teams to explore new data opportunities and grow existing engagements.
Required Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Data Solution Architect or similar role in data architecture, modeling, and pipelines using Azure or equivalent AWS/GCP services.
• Strong expertise in Erwin Data Modeling tools and OLAP/OLTP systems.
• Advanced skills in SQL for data analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with an understanding of business priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience balancing technical and business skills while working with enterprise architecture teams.
• Knowledge of domain/application standards and best practices aligned with enterprise goals.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Expertise in data consumption design patterns, including semantic layers and visualizations.
• Understanding of Medallion Architecture.
