What the role entails: TKD seeks an IT Support Specialist whose primary responsibility includes responding to incoming requests to the IT Help Desk via phone, e-mail, or walk-in and quickly diagnosing and resolving user problems as the first point of contact and escalating calls to the next level of service, as necessary. In addition, the Specialist will follow up with users to ensure successful problem resolution and that all requests are documented accordingly. Additional responsibilities include assisting with IT-related tasks such as printer and workstation configuration, conference room A/V setups, mobile devices, and application testing. In addition to contributing resolutions and content to the internal knowledgebase and participating in IT special projects.
Essential responsibilities include: Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, and electronically. Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention, redirecting problems to the appropriate resource. Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues, assisting end-users with technical and application functionality questions. Research questions using available information resources. Follow standard help desk procedures and recommend changes for continuous improvement. Log/track all support requests and document resolutions in Helpdesk Ticketing System. Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in technology projects. Engage in formal and informal knowledge transfer. Build and maintain productive client relationships with all firm users. Stay current with system information, changes, and updates. Qualifications and skills:
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in helpdesk support, preferably within a law firm or professional services organization. A college degree in Information Systems, Technology, or related field is strongly preferred, however, candidates with equivalent experience will be considered. Proficiency in Microsoft desktop products, including Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10) and higher; Office 2016, and Office 365 preferred. Experience with MS Outlook E-mail Client operating in Microsoft O365 Exchange environment. Experience with PC imaging solution (MS Intune) and software deployment tools. Working knowledge of Mobile Devices, iPhones, Android devices, HP printers, and Mobile Device Management (MDM), Canon & Xerox Copier devices. Ability to perform basic network administration tasks related to Active Directory account management. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a teamwork/collaborative style and environment. Working knowledge of VOIP Office phone systems. Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts; or other Document Management experience such as iManage. Experience with Kofax, Adobe Acrobat CRM, Litera software operations. Working knowledge of video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, MS Teams, WebEx, and other platforms. Experience working with Help Desk ticketing solutions. Working Knowledge of VMWare and virtual environments a plus. Familiarity with Mimecast a plus.
This position is an in-person, 5-day a week role.

Compensation & benefits: The good faith base annual salary range for this position is a minimum of $60,000 to a maximum of $85,000. The actual salary rate offered to candidates within that range will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, years of relevant experience, applicable education/certification(s), office location, and the candidate's overall qualifications for the position as assessed by the Firm. Market and Firm factors are also considered.
