We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Sales to lead our sales strategy and drive significant growth across multiple channels.

Position Overview

The Senior Director of Sales will oversee all aspects of Tutta Bella's sales operations, working closely with leadership to develop and execute strategies that expand market share, increase revenue, and solidify our position as a leader in the CPG industry. This role requires a results-oriented, strategic thinker with a proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams in the CPG space. This position will report into the CMO/CRO and will be a part of the Senior Leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Sales Leadership:
  2. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  3. Identify new market opportunities and create plans to penetrate them effectively.
  4. Establish KPIs and regularly analyze performance metrics to optimize sales outcomes.
  5. Serve as the main point of contact and leader for all sales broker(s).
  6. Team Development and Management:
  7. Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  8. Provide ongoing training and development to ensure the team is equipped to meet evolving market demands.
  9. Channel Management:
  10. Oversee sales across multiple channels, including retail, foodservice, e-commerce, and distributors.
  11. Cultivate strong relationships with key accounts, including grocery chains, specialty stores, and strategic partners.
  12. Work closely with brokers and distributors to maximize product placement and market penetration.
  13. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  14. Partner with Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to ensure alignment on product launches, promotions, and inventory planning.
  15. Provide market and customer insights to inform product innovation and marketing strategies.
  16. Financial Management:
  17. Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and P&L to ensure financial objectives are met.
  18. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to drive profitability while maintaining competitive positioning.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales leadership within the CPG industry.
  2. Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth in a high-growth environment.
  3. Strong understanding of CPG sales channels, including retail, foodservice, and e-commerce.
  4. Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  5. Data-driven decision-maker with proficiency in CRM tools, sales analytics, and forecasting.
  6. Passion for food, innovation, and building brands that resonate with consumers.
