AVP/VP for Cyber Broking

Aon is looking for an AVP/VP Broker for Cyber Solutions. Are you seeking an opportunity to be a part of our growing, full service Cyber Solutions team by brokering strategic approaches to cyber policy statements? Join our industry leading Cyber Solutions team within our hybrid-virtual environment in our San Francisco, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Philadelphia, PA; or Atlanta, GA offices. As an AVP/VP, you will report directly to the Senior Vice President or Team Leader.

What the day will look like:

1. Demonstrate detailed knowledge of Cyber/E&O insurance marketplace and our team’s products and services.
2. Demonstrate ability to place a layered program ($50M) from start to finish.
3. Own all aspects of client service for your assigned book of business and new business opportunities in coordination with other team members.
4. Apply effective negotiation skills to improve broking results for clients.
5. Use data, own experience, others’ perspectives, and a clear methodology to improve client programs.
6. Work in an Aon United fashion to cross-sell Cyber Solutions products and services.
7. Successfully apply the claims and legal advocacy group for claim administration and counsel to assist with claim resolution.
8. Apply effective underwriter relationships to improve broking results.
9. Proactively develop and complete a pipeline strategy for new business.
10. Act as a mentor to more junior team members.
11. Drive utilization of all available technology throughout broking process and client service process.
12. Understand the causes of E&O and adopt practices to reduce exposure.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

1. 5 years of brokering and/or underwriting experience within Cyber/E&O lines.
2. Proven ability to drive results at an individual and team level.
3. Ability to communicate at the C-Suite level.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
5. Strong negotiation skills.
6. Ability to build relationships.
7. Active Property & Casualty License or willingness to acquire one upon hire.

Education: Bachelor’s degree.

Salary: The salary range for this position is $112,000 - $200,000. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities.
