Application Security Architect – Hybrid

Job Title: Application Security Architect
W2 Rate: $86/HR
LOCATION DETAILS: Boston, MA – LOCAL CANDIDATES, FIRST PREFERENCE
Hybrid onsite 3 days (Tues-Thurs onsite)
Only taking USC, GC or TN Visa
Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Job Description:

We are hiring for an experienced Senior Application Security Architect. Must have the following background – local candidates are considered first, but open to nearby relocations.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an application security role, with hands-on experience in security architecture and risk assessments.
3. Strong expertise in securing container environments and managing container security – OpenShift, Podman, and Docker.
4. Experience with API management and security, especially with MuleSoft and Traceable.
5. Proficiency in managing open source security and using tools such as NexusIQ.
6. Experience with implementing Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP) with Contrast Protect.
7. Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, and ISO 27001.

Nice to have (NOT REQUIRED):

1. Banking/financial services experience.
2. Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CEH, OSCP, etc.) are highly desirable.
