Special Event Account Manager

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Special Events Account Manager will support the company's sales goals through effective sales techniques and exceptional customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Prepare and process all proposals, quotes and associated documents, accurately with all information (required and additional) in internal system(s). These will come from the established/protected client list.
*For clients on the approved list - handle all incoming sales inquiries, web-generated requests and emails that include but are not limited to: requests for general information, requests for basic proposals, questions concerning services & products offered, design decks and follow up.
*Coordination of the Operations details for all owned rental contracts, including but not limited to: product availability, inventory swaps, delivery details, on-site contact information, etc.
*Order and track custom branding items, pillows and logos, including filling out related forms, communicating with outside vendors, tracking the ordering and follow-up and noting these in the internal system.
*Responsible for processing payments, updating and accurate record keeping. Will notify Sales Manager immediately of any deviation from company policy for additional support.
*Communicate rental policies to clients and manage client expectations with clear and consistent communication.
*Handle confirmation on all shows two weeks or more out. Use immediate and proactive means (email, phone call, social media, in person, engage co-workers, etc.) for jobs less than one week out - everything discussed in regular weekly Sales/Ops meeting.
*Attend all Sales/Ops weekly meetings in person and act as the main coordination point to disseminate necessary sales order information to the operations and delivery teams.
*Send out monthly thank you cards for orders/quotes as well as survey emails.
*Track FAM/Sponsored events in Sales Force.
*Act as main point person on select accounts - see attached client list. This will include but not limited to initiating sales forward touches, meetings, site visits, and floor plans.
*Responsible for revenue goals for the attached client list and revenue growth strategies for these select accounts.
*Responsible for proactive sales account touches to be logged in Salesforce as well as weekly/bi-weekly sales meeting with your Sales Manager.
*Responsible for tracking and collecting aging as needed. Bringing in the sales manager for additional support as needed.
*Maintain appropriate marketing efforts to push growth of separate client list and maintain accurate records for these efforts.
*Accountable for 25 proactive sales touches per month.
*Must follow and maintain all policies and protocols as established.
*Networking events will be limited to 2 times per month without prior management approval
*Enter all rebate and referrals at the end of every month for all eligible contracts that have been invoiced and are paid in full.
*Tie all freelancer and referred opportunities to the appropriate accounts for tracking
