About Our Client

My client is a National General Contractor out of the Greater St. Louis area. They have experience in a wide variety of ground-up project types including, warehouse and industrial-including distribution, office buildings-including medical facilities, commercial retail centers, institutional, religious, recreational, and educational. Pays close attention to detail and specialty-designed projects that are unmatched in element. They are looking to add experienced talent to their project management team here in St. Louis.

Job Description
  • Plans and coordinates project activities inline with company polices and procedures
  • Creates and reviews project schedules
  • Partner with client from preconstruction phase through closeout
  • Direct the support staff and coordinate with field crews and superintendents to ensure project delivery
  • Communicates effectively, establishes and fosters relationships with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors
  • Responsible for forecasting and estimating costs and changes to costs for project completion
  • Assist in hiring and mentoring new employees
  • Ensure safety protocols are being adhered to on the job site

The Successful Applicant
  • At least 5-10+ years of experience with a general contractor
  • Experience in ground up industrial and/or commercial office space
  • Bachelor's degree required (civil engineering degree highly preferred)
  • Organized and communicative
  • See projects through to completion
  • Experience leading projects $10M+
  • Strong technical and computer skills in industry-related programs preferred
