You Are:

The Test Engineering Manager drives quality in our solutions and provides deep expertise in planning, constructing and executing test scripts. They demonstrate the ability to cope with growing complexity and creativity in design by thinking outside the box to determine the best way a test can be performed. Applying both business and functional knowledge, they develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies.

The Work:

With a future focused mindset, the Test Engineering Managers provide technical leadership and strategic direction. They transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. They evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Test Automation including planning, script development, and maintenance
  3. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software development in an Agile environment
  4. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in two of the following: Java/J2EE, Groovy, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, C#, VB.NET
  5. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in two of the following testing toolsets or frameworks:
    1. Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Protractor, SoapUI, Worksoft Certified, Tricentis Tosca, UFT
    2. TDD: using jUnit, TestNG, other
    3. BDD: using Cucumber/Gherkin
  6. Demonstrated experience with continuous integration, including two of the following build/deploy/version control tools:
    1. Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo
    2. Git, Mercurial, Subversion, Bitbucket, GitHub
    3. Grunt, Gradle, Gulp, Maven, MS TFS

Bonus Points if:

  1. You have a solid grasp of application architectures
  2. You’ve got experience using TDD or BDD
  3. You know your way around virtualization using CA Service Virtualization, Rational Integration Server, Parasoft Virtualize, or SmartBear Ready!API
  4. You’re no newbie to Nexus, Artifactory, NPM, Bower, or similar

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington.

  1. California $63,800 to $154,800
  2. Colorado $63,800 to $133,700
  3. District of Columbia $68,000 to $142,400
  4. Illinois $59,100 to $133,700
  5. Minnesota $63,800 to $133,700
  6. Maryland $59,100 to $123,800
  7. New York $59,100 to $154,800
  8. Washington $68,000 to $142,400
