Job Summary:
As an Electrical Assembler, you are expected to perform skilled fitting and/or electrical assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment. You will perform in-depth inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
No minimum education required
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing and electrical assembly environment or can demonstrate sufficient competence in area
Intermediate understanding of mechanical concepts / mechanical aptitude
Working knowledge of electrical systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform skilled fitting and/or electrical assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment
Perform in-depth inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards
Do aligning, adjusting, and required secondary machining
Work from wiring schematics, point-to-point wiring drawings, mechanical drawings, specifications and shop orders
Use required precision measuring instruments and gauging devices
Perform skilled electrical wiring assemblies including electrical components
Identify product defects and report on issues to appropriate personnel
Keep accurate production records/logs etc.
