Lead for the SAP Atlas Advanced Key User (AKU)

A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Manager of AKU (Advanced Key User)Team, you will work in a team culture that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. You will manage a team that supports the key users and the end users in SAP related questions, mainly in the area of Demand New Unit (Project structures and logistics execution), Demand Services (Parts, repair, fields service, and maintenance contracts), Supply Buy/Make (procurement, inventory, manufacturing and quality processes), and PLM (Engineering & data management for parts, bill of materials and documents). In addition to the support you understand the business requirements, translate them into SAP capability and align with the SAP team to drive required SAP changes, user acceptance testing and the final implementation. The team understands the training needs and provide relevant documentation / training. You have regular information exchange with the different management teams and Key users from the sites you are supporting. You are involved in new SAP functions / projects to ensure they fulfill the business requirements, and you can judge on the business impact. In case of SAP changes, you are supporting the central teams with testing and release of change requests. SAP interfaces are known by you and your team. You're the Local Business Lead when reviewing global changes to SAP, assessing the impacts and rejecting changes that have negative local business impact.

Your goal is to ensure efficient and robust SAP processes and a working SAP key user team.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead the team and collaborate with the Sites to ensure mature SAP processes and SAP user knowledge
  • Understand the business requirements, translate them to efficient SAP processes and drive and support improvements within SAP and related interfaces
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering or related field with a background in Operations Management or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Compression or a related field. 10 years' experience in ERP deployment and support, with detailed knowledge of SAP Atlas for New Equipment and Services.
  • Ability to motivate and maintain a focused team, with demonstrated leadership skills. Good communication skills and capacity to develop effective internal and external relations.
  • Approach that emphasizes analysis and taking proactive measures to achieve desired results.
  • Solid understanding of systems interfaced with ERP (e.g., PLM, MES, EWM, EDI) and experience in deploying large-scale business process changes.
  • Ability to maintain process alignment and foster positive relationships without direct authority.

This role may be based in Painted Post or Olean, New York. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay. The base salary range for this position in Painted Post or Olean, New York is $110,000 - $160,000 and the annual incentive target is 10% of base salary.

Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.
