IT&E Engineer Location: Grand Prairie, TX Job ID: #70222 Pay Range: $50-59/hr 12 months Interim Secret or active US secret clearance required SUMMARY Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems. I&T role will focus on support to and conduct of risk reduction testing on PrSM subsystems, with potential to transition to Inc. 2 Flight test activities at completion of subsystem tests. Position may require business travel Required Experience: 2-5 years experience authorizing technical documentation. 2-5 years experience with hands-on engineering of hardware that can include Component, Circuit Card Assembly, Subsystems, or large systems. Desired Experience: Prior experience with RF and/or IR Sensor testing Prior experience with flight testing at White Sands Missile Range OR Eglin Air Force base. Missile Test experience Planning and executions of Test Events Experience with Testing and Development Testing Lab experience Domestic travel required for onsite supplier activities.
